Tom Ryan is a UK based composer with clients across the globe. Working across TV, film, advertising and gaming, he is making a unique contribution. Between traditional Hollywood orchestration and a growing collection of analogue synths, Tom’s versatility is evident.
Tom’s work has immense reach, with online projects he has scored seen by over 250m people worldwide. This includes bespoke compositions and orchestrations for the viral show JonTron and the pilot of Amazon's "Hazbin Hotel". Challenged to compose within different cultural settings, he has scored films and games for clients in Australia, US, Canada, Columbia and UK. This includes over 25 animated shorts and mobile game SwipeScape.
Having composed the score for Story Films' "The Fall: Skydive Murder Plot", which premiered on Channel 4 to 1.3m, Tom is adding to a string of successful documentary scores including "Hauntings" for Paramount+ and "Hell Camp: Teen Nightmare" on Netflix.
Tom’s corporate clients include Europe’s fintech institution, Klarna and National Geographic, scoring the historical audio documentary "A Reckoning in Tulsa", which covered the history of the Tulsa race riots in the 1920s. Also in the podcast realm, Tom co-scored "Ad Lucem" with his mentor Ian Arber in 2023, a 9-part sci-fi drama with a Hollywood cast.
